Analog Devices AD7911 (10-bit) and AD79211 (12-bit) are high speed, low power, 2-channel successive approximation analog-to-digital converters (ADCs). These devices operate from a single 2.35V to 5.25V power supply with throughput rates up to 250kSPS. They integrate a low-noise, wideband track-and-hold amplifier that can handle input frequencies in excess of 6MHz. The conversion process and data acquisition are controlled using CS and serial clocks, allowing the device to interface with a microprocessor or DSP. The input signal is sampled on the falling edge of CS, and the conversion starts from this point.
