     Antenova Ltd has added new products to its range of miniature patch antennas and modules created for GNSS applications. The new antenna Agosti, part number SR4G080, measures 9mm x 5.8mm x 1.7mm and offers excellent efficiency in the smaller space in the corners of the PCB. And it also provides designers with additional layout options as it is placed in a corner of the PCB.

     The company's radiation measurements show that the antenna works well on small grounds of 40mm x 20mm, 70mm x 25mm and 80mm x 30mm, making it a suitable choice for small form factor designs. The main advantage of the antenna is the small ground plane. Most SMD antennas utilize the PCB surface around the antenna as a ground plane to radiate the signal, so the ground plane does not need the physical size of the antenna to determine the space it needs.
