The AP3041 is a current mode high voltage low side channel MOSFET controller that is ideal for boost regulators and is available in an SOIC-16 package. It contains all the features needed to implement a single-ended main topology DC/DC converter with an input voltage range of 5V to 27V. Its operating frequency is adjustable from 100kHz to 1MHz.
AP3041 Pin Configuration
The AP3041 has a UVLO(undervoltage lock and break) circuit. It uses two external resistors to set the UVLO voltage. The AP3041 also has overoutput voltage protection to limit the output voltage. The OVP voltage can be set through an external resistor. If the output voltage is above the OVP high threshold point, it disables the drive and system latches.
The system can adopt the function of output short circuit protection and short circuit detection on the low side of LED. AP3041 also has other protection functions, such as LED short circuit protection, LED high side short circuit to ground protection, diode short circuit protection, overcurrent protection, overtemperature protection, etc
