A new inductor with built-in step-down DC-DC converter family, the XCL232 released by Torex Semiconductor LTD
The series is a synchronous step-down miniature DC-DC converter combining an inductor and a control IC in a miniature package.
The series is compatible with low power MCU and soc. In addition, you can choose from a low output voltage of 0.5V, making it suitable for low voltage soCs. The efficiency performance of light load current is greatly improved by ultra-low power circuit, 200nA power current and PFM control method. It is noteworthy that the efficiency is more than 70% higher than that of conventional products at several μA to 10μA output current.
By combining the control IC with the coil, ultra-compact, high efficiency and low electromagnetic interference can be achieved simply by installing two small ceramic capacitors externally. This makes the client's design simple.
This series is suitable for IoT, mobile and wearable devices that emphasize small size, area saving, efficient performance at light load current, or all devices that emphasize battery life.
