Analogue Devices HMC1099 provides GaN power amplifiers covering 0.01-1.1GHz instantaneous bandwidth. The device is pre-matched internally to provide simple external tuning for optimal performance over the entire operating frequency range. The power amplifier provides broadband power over 10W, with a typical signal gain of 18.5dB and gain flatness of ± 0.5dB. Operating on a 100V 28V supply voltage, the amplifier provides a high saturation output power of 40.5dB.
This amplifier is ideal for continuous or pulsed applications. The amplifier has a PAE of up to 69%, which reduces power consumption, reduces self-heating, and extends battery life in portable applications.
