Texas Instruments' TPS2662x series is a compact, feature-rich, high-voltage electronic fuse with a full range of protection features. A wide 4.5V to 57V power supply input range controls many common DC bus voltages. The device can withstand and protect loads from positive and negative supply voltages up to ± 60V. The TPS26624 and TPS26625 devices support both input and output reverse polarity protection. The back-to-back FET combination provides reverse current blocking, making the device ideal for systems with output holding voltage requirements in the event of a power failure and power loss. Load, power and equipment protection has many adjustable features including overcurrent, output slew rate and overvoltage, and undervoltage threshold.
TPS26620, TPS26622 and TPS26624 have a latching function, and TPS26621, TPS26623 and TPS26625 have an automatic retry function which is an overheating and overcurrent fault event.
These devices are available in a 3mm x 3mm 10-pin SON package and are specified over the temperature range of –40C to + 125C.
