New Yorker Electronics now offers two new Electrocube high temperature film capacitors. Electrocube 433D and 463D series of foil capacitors are manufactured in teflon or PTFE for maximum protection against extreme high temperatures. The 433D series is teflon and foil while the 463D series is metallized TEflon. Ideal for very high temperature applications

The equipment is specially designed and optimized for ac and pulse signals in high-temperature applications. They are manufactured using proprietary processes and can be used successfully in high-temperature environments. It provides high frequency operation, high current and stability in a miniature package capable of handling high inrush currents without degradation. The 433D series of high-grade materials, designed and manufactured for extreme high temperature applications such as avionics, high power applications, wind power, underground exploration and turbines. They are rugged, non-inductive, wound film and foil capacitors, high temperature outer packing and epoxy end filling, and meet or exceed UL94V0 flammability specifications.

The two new series feature extended electrode construction and standard tin-plated, oxygen-free solid copper leads, with most units available in BOTH RoHS and non-RoHS. The 433D construction tolerances are ±5%, ±10% and ±15%; The 463D series has ±5%, ±10% and ±20% tolerances.

They can be used at frequencies up to 100kHz and at temperatures ranging from -55℃ to +150℃ without derating. These film capacitors can withstand 150% of the DC rated voltage (at 25 ° C for a duration of up to 1 minute) and are limited to 5mA current. They can withstand 140% of the DC rated voltage, operate at 150C for 250 hours and fail no more than once in 12 times. The dissipation factor does not exceed 0.1% at 25℃, and the dielectric absorption does not exceed 0.02% at 25℃.
